To check availability for each gite, please review the “Check Availability” tab on the left of this page. I have no set check in / check out days; so your holiday can be tailored to meet your own personal requirements.

My only request is : Arrival after 4pm / departure by 10am, unless agreed beforehand.

    • short breaks between 2 and 4 nights : 95 / 105 € per night
    • 5 or more nights : 90 / 95 € per night
  • La Vienne
    • short breaks between 3 and 4 nights : 100 / 110 € per night
    • 5 or more nights : 95 / 100 € per night

Prices quoted are in €uros; and include the whole, two bedroom / two bathroom / three story gite 

Discounts considered for returning guests and longer stays

There are no hidden costs, within the price the following is included:

• Freshly washed and ironed bed linen (changed every 7 days)
• Fluffy, tumble dried towels (bath sheet / hand towel / flannel / beach towels in the summer)
• Electricity (*see long-stay / winter break conditions)
• Free WiFi throughout
• Initial supply of toilet rolls / cleaning products
• Small welcome pack (croissants / butter / milk / water / local cidre / coffee)
• End of stay cleaning (although, I would be grateful if it wasn’t too messy)
• Initial basket of fire logs in the winter
• Taxe de Séjour: 70c per adult / per night

La Vienne gite : availability from 3 days to 90 days

• September / October / April / May / June : short breaks from 3 nights 
• November / December / January / February / March : short breaks from 4 nights
• Christmas & New Year : minimum 5 nights
• July and August : minimum 7 nights 

La Haute gite : availability from 2 days to 90 days

• September through June : short breaks from 2 nights (not available July and August)
• Christmas & New Year : minimum 5 nights
• July and August : minimum 5 nights

Monthly or long let vacations (maximum 90 days)

Longer breaks: If you are in the area, maybe looking for a property to purchase yourselves or, somewhere to stay whilst you renovate your new home. Please contact us to discuss a long term rental, I am always open to suggestions.

• Monthly rental prices (28 days) start from around : La Haute 1950 € / La Vienne 2100 € based on 1 to 2 people sharing.  Prices are dependent on total number of people staying / time of year / duration of stay etc.  Towels / linens are included and will be washed and ironed each week. 
• An additional charge for electricity* is levied separately for usage over 4 € per day in accordance with available, online readings.  
• Additional logs are also available from us and levied separately.  Dependent on the duration of your stay / time of year, you may even wish to consider ordering your own supply of firewood; we can help you decide the volume and order on your behalf from the local supplier. 

Please note: if you are considering a “long-stay” with us that incorporates: 28 November / 2 December ; the gites are available, we are just unable to accept any arrivals on those days.  Please contact to discuss.

General:

• A deposit of 100 € (per weeks rental) is required at the time of booking; unless the date is less than six weeks prior to your stay, in which case, full payment is required.  
• Without receipt of deposit, enquiries will be held for 48 hours to enable you time to decide and ask any additional questions; after that, the dates will be made available again.
• Final payment to be made six weeks prior to your stay.  
• Fraud prevention : any errors in over-payment will be returned, in full, to the original sender.  Gites Limousin will not enter into the splitting of monies received or, returning to a third party account.

How to pay:

• Direct Bank Transfer – please email for Bank details: enquiries@giteslimousin.com
• PayPal from the link on this site.  

If using PayPal ‘e-check’, payment must clear before arrival : to be made at least 15 days in advance.

• Cash on arrival.  Cash is only accepted for last minute bookings where it is not possible for payment to be confirmed as cleared, before your stay.
